The service

MapElevation provides approximate elevation estimates, derived contours, a bounded coastal demonstration, US FEMA point queries, and explanatory guides. See the data and accuracy notes and disclaimer for sources and limitations. External services can be slow or unavailable, so a result may fail or require a retry. The LOMA information check does not submit an application or determine eligibility.

Appropriate use

Use this tool for general information. It is not an official flood determination, survey, emergency warning or insurance recommendation. Do not use it as the sole basis for property, construction or safety decisions. Respect the service's rate limits and the licences of the underlying data providers.

Availability

Terrain and address data are supplied by third parties. Coverage, accuracy and availability can change. This MVP does not offer payments, subscriptions, credits or paid reports.
